Hello Dear One,
Looking at the complex connections this week, we have to question what do we really need?
When you take time to answer that question, often things in your life change perspective. We are often programmed, don’t ask what they can do for you but what you can do for them. This often leaves us rarely asking ourselves what we need, but waiting for someone to ask, or just assuming they know best, what we need.
Make sure to take some time each day to ask yourself, “what do I really need.” Sometimes you may need to ask that question hourly, or every few minutes. And that’s okay. It’s also ok if those needs shift and change throughout the day, if you feel differently after reflection and your priorities change. Because that’s perfectly normal.
What we’re looking for is the opportunity to evaluate what you are doing, to look at the choices you’re making and why you are making them. Do they serve a purpose, do they meet your needs? Are you waiting for someone else to come along and meet your needs? Do you have needs you aren’t meeting? And, sometimes most shocking, are you doing things that don’t serve you because you are “supposed to,” and those actions are not meeting your needs or anyone else’s?
